During an interview with Shoboy and Nina from 92.3 AMP Radio, the “Crying in the Club” singer spoke about the strength in the Latin community, saying “I feel like Latin people, because all of us come from some sort of struggle, we’re always helping each other.” Cabello, long with fellow Latin stars Pitbull and J Balvin, collaborated on “Hey Ma” from The Fate of the Furious soundtrack. It was then that Cabella experienced the famous generosity of Pitbull firsthand.
“He [Pitbull] was telling me, during the video shoot [for ‘Hey Ma’], if you and your mom ever want to come out to dinner, I could just give you advice on anything,” says Cabello. “I feel like he really wants to see people from Miami — like Lunchmoney, who he did a collaboration with — or other Latin/Cuban people … he’s always trying to just pull people up.”
Cabello’s solo debut The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving. will be released in September.
