When you’re soaked in sweat and surrounded by countless strangers listening to live music, it’s hard to imagine the performer being in your shoes. They’ve all been there before and it’s probably one of the major reasons they decided to pursue a music career. The money and fame are nice perks, too.
Swedish DJ duo Axwell /\ Ingrosso have had their fair share of memorable concert moments as part of the crowd. For Sebastian Ingrosso, a contemporary R&B hitmaker stands out.
“The Weeknd’s concert,” says Sebastian Ingrosso. “He made the arena feel something special. It’s hard to be an R&B artist because there’s so much things on the mic all the time. He sings so much. Big respect to him because he must be exhausted after the concert. But it was really good. It was about him and the music and he made everyone feel great. It’s not so much about the bangers. It’s more about the sex and the whole thing around.”
Ingrosso’s counterpart, Axwell, provided a more surprising answer.
“For me it was my first concert that was the most memorable beacuse I was nine (years old),” he says. “There was a band back in the day called Europe, a Swedish band. They were huge back then.”
