Like all catchy and fun dances that turn into memes, the shelf life is unpredictable but usually short-lived; from the flash-in-the-pan “Harlem Shake” to “Hit the Quan,” the best one can hope for is a few months of relevancy before internet credibility quickly becomes stale.
The latest in dance memes can be sourced to Zay Hilfiger and Zayion McCall with “JuJu On That Beat” and the TZ Anthem Challenge. It’s a few weeks in and still being embraced, so the half-life of this particular meme might be longer than most. “People keep finding it and engaging with it,” Jeff Vaughn, senior director of A&R at APG told Billboard. “It was happening so fast, it felt like it would burn out quick,” Vaughn continued, adding, “It hasn’t, because we were able to act quickly and start promoting.”
But could the promotion tarnish the glow from the dance’s organic viral shine? It’s already been explained in detail on Ellen; how much longer can it last after finding a place on daytime network TV?
And a dance lesson with Kelly Ripa.
Nonetheless, the TZ Anthem Challenge has provided with plenty of great videos. Here are some of the best.
These clowns, for sure, who created the dance.
This inspiring cancer patient, 32-year-old Ana-Alecia Ayala.
The Philadelphia 76ers, who could REALLY use a win.

This young girl putting the rest of you to shame.
And, of course, Miranda Sings.
How could we leave out Blac Chyna?
