2014 is quickly coming to an end, but there are sure to be PLENTY of hot releases still to come this year.
It’s been the year of Iggy Azalea, Magic! and Lil Jon to say the least… plus TONS of other great artists! So, we decided to try to list them all in one place.
Here’s a not-so-short list to help all of you looking to catch up with the hottest singles or something that hasn’t quite hit the Top 40 yet.
Either way, this is a great place to start!
Let us know if you think we should add a song, and we just might! Enjoy the list!
These four Canadian fellas, all of whom play their own instruments, literally came out of nowhere with their reggae flavored pop hit “Rude,” where the emotional lyrics ask a father’s permission to take his daughter’s hand in marriage. So emo!
Having been nominated for Best Dance/Electronica Album at the 2014 Grammy’s, we were just waiting for a hit song to happen for this duo, and this song is it. The combination of Disclosure’s unique beats and Sam Smith’s vocals is truly mesmerizing.
Nothing can be said about this song and video that hasn’t already been exhausted. If you don’t know… just watch.
Lately it’s been all about the remixes, especially ones with Drake. The remix of Tinashe’s song “2 On” and Drake’s song “Thotful” makes for one perfect combination.
This dynamic duo of Ariana’s sweet sexiness and Iggy’s down & dirty attitude has been giving guys AND girls problems ever since it’s release in April 2014.
2014 is the year of Iggy Azalea. With her breakthrough song “Fancy” and being featured on Ariana Grande’s “Problem,” Iggy goes for another collaboration hit with the super talented Rita Ora.
She’s not your typical female rapper. This song is half rap and half pop with a really catchy beat underneath. This will probably be one of the songs that pushes her to the top and it won’t be long now.
See description for Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda.” In addition… #BOOTY. That is all.
The original version of Mr Probz song “Waves” gives off a chill, relaxed vibe that keeps us listening to it on repeat. But as if we thought the song couldn’t get better, the remix by German DJ Robin Shulz transformed it into a song like we have never heard before.

If you are feeling in the mood for some feel good indie music, then Kiesza is the girl for you. Since her single “Hideaway” is only one of two songs she released in 2014, be on the lookout for what else she has up her sleeve in the near future.
This song is so tight, she postponed her album release because it was doing so well!
Kid Ink is fairly new to the scene, and his latest song “Main Chick” is only one of many collaborations he has done with some big name hip-hop artists, in this case Chris Brown. In 2013, he came out with his song “Bad Ass,” which featured Wale and Meek Mill.
Oh, you must not have been home when Enrique called to invite you on this song. Too bad.
You seriously can’t go anywhere without hearing this song blasting out of someone’s speakers. It’s the feel good song of the summer of 2014 and you better get used to it!
Sia has a very unique sound which will bode well for her. She has a little bit of rap and a lot of pop that draws you in and the beat behind this song is catchy and plus it’s incredibly fun to belt out really loud.
Relax… Duke Dumont got u. All is well.
He’s a french music producer and DJ who’s known for his house music and American-pop songs, “Titanium” and “Turn Me On,” but those are just two of his hits. And now there’s “Bad.” David Guetta’s house music background and pure talent has allowed him to team up with other great artists in the past and he doesn’t show signs of stopping.
Clean Bandit sat down with 92.3 AMP Radio’s Astra to talk about their breakthrough single, featuring those sweet sweet string sounds we can’t get enough of.
Meghan Trainor helps bring booty back and doesn’t care if you’re ready for all this jelly…
Zedd is a one man band…well he’s more of a DJ and music producer. His first big hit was “Clarity” and now he’s done it again. The best part is that you can listen to him on your way to work, before you get ready to go out at night or at the club. He’s one of those guys on the bridge between house music and American-pop.
“I only wanna die alive. Never by the hands of a broken heart. Don’t wanna hear you lie tonight,
now that I’ve become who I really are.” Thank you Max Martin.

An ode to drowning your relationships in whatever stimulant is available to numb the pain. We suggest coffee. Tove Lo might disagree.
This song that originated as a joke has taken off and pretty much consumed all Top 40 fans. Without a doubt, this is bound to bring The Chainsmokers to the forefront of American club music and pop culture. But first, let’s all take a #selfie.
After nine GRAMMYs, John Legend cranked out “All of Me” which has stayed at Number 3 on the Hot 100 chart for a couple weeks.
One of two singles released prior to his debut album, the other being “Tear the Roof Up.” He’s even releasing videos on Snapchat. So, like, keep up with him if you can.
Well frankly, if you don’t like this song, I fear for your personality. And if you didn’t like it the first go around, you have to watch the 24 hour music video, that will, without a doubt, change your mind.
As part of her surprise visual album, this song drew quite the crowd from the get-go. It’s promiscuous but acceptable because pretty much the whole album features her husband, Jay-Z.
This was pretty much the theme song at every pre-game for the past few months. Everybody knows the words and it’s an attention grabber for sure.
The title says it all. It’s dirty and sensual but Jason has made himself another chart topper. The ending, “I don’t understand,” is either loved or hated but as for the rest of the song, everyone pretty much loves it.
Martin kicked off his career with “Animals” but that wasn’t enough. There hasn’t even been time for dust to settle and he already pumped out another hit.
The title describes exactly what the song makes you want to do. With a mix of Ed’s unique vocals and rapping skills, as well as being produced by none other than Pharrell Williams, there is no doubt that this is a hit song.
You have NO IDEA how many requests we get for this baby. This is a Twitter feed killer right here.
I am convinced that Pharrell’s hat is so big because it’s full of secrets (or maybe some hit songs). There is not one song this man makes that is not a hit on it’s own. This song keeps up with Pharrell’s “happy” theme with its upbeat sound.
Take my word for it – this is the song of the summer (all pun intended). Calvin Harris is at it yet again with awesome beats and smooth vocals.
You never thought the beat could get sicker until you heard “Partition.” This summer, “Yonce” will literally be “all on your mouth like liquor” as you play this hot song on repeat.
Katy’s latest single makes you want to celebrate every day like it’s your birthday. And if you have not seen the video yet, Katy will make you want to crash the hottest parties.
After her two hit singles from her album “Pure Heroine,” Lorde brings her song “Tennis Court” to the radio. I see this one as another chart topper!
Although he has collaborated with hip-hop superstars like Nicki Minaj and Fabolous on his other hit songs, Trey Songz has made his latest single “Na Na” a hit all on his own.
The amount of hip-hop features in this song is ridiculous, and is definitely what makes it amazing. In different versions, the rapping skills of Lil Wayne, French Montana, Too Short and Tyga are featured.
When you put two of the hottest pop icons together, what do you get? An amazing song! This song has blown up like crazy, but the racy video on the other hand has stirred up some controversy.
Basically if you have never collaborated with Pitbull, are you even in the music industry? Pitbull never fails to entertain with his rapping skills, but the addition of the voice of G.R.L. makes it unique from any of his other songs.
